One day last year after church Don had introduced himself to my husband Marc, when he had heard that he too was involved in Aviation in the Arctic. They briefly exchanged a few aviation stories. My husband always hoped to run into him again and continue their exchange of experiences. Unfortunately this never happened. We were very saddened to hear of his passing but were sincerely honored when our twins were invited to alter serve at his funeral.
