Obituary of Donald John Lavern

LAVERN, Donald "Don� (Veteran - WWII) (Retired RCAF) Peacefully in hospital at Arnprior on Friday morning, August 26th, 2005. Donald John "Don� Lavern of Braeside at the age of 78 years. Beloved husband of the late Vivian Davey (January 8th, 2005). Cherished father of Diana Albert and her husband Paul of Braeside. Predeceased by his 3 brothers: Harry, Rupert and Des. Special uncle of Rob Lavern (Rose), Alan Hartling (Colleen), Robert Charlebois (Carol), Glenn Hurshman (Linda) and Gary Hurshman (Marsha). Friends may join us for visitation at the PILON FAMILY FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and after 10 a.m. Monday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Braeside on Monday morning , August 29th at 11:30. In memory of Don, donations to the Lung Association or the Arnprior & District Memorial Hospital would be appreciated by his family. Members of the Knights of Columbus will assemble at the funeral home for prayers on Sunday evening at 7 o�clock.
