Obituary of John Lunney

LUNNEY, John Suddenly but peacefully in hospital at Arnprior on Saturday afternoon, January 14th, 2006. John Hugh Lunney of Arnprior at the age of 80 years. Beloved husband of the late Margaret �Peg� (nee McElligott). Son of the late Edward Lunney and of the late Elizabeth O�Neill. Dearly loved father of Philip (and his wife Cindy) of Stittsville and Ann Birnie (and her husband John) of Langley B.C. Cherished �Grandpa� of John and Matthew Lunney, Jessica, Marissa and Joel Birnie. Dear brother of Gerard (late Madeleine), Edward (Yvonne) and Frank (Marg) all of Ottawa, Alphonse (Jeri) of Almonte and Sr. Mary Lunney SSJ. also of Ottawa. Predeceased by a brother, Tom Lunney and a sister, Betty Anne Lunney. Also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and many close friends. Friends may join us for visitation at the Pilon Family Funeral Home & Chapel 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and after 9:30 a.m. Wednesday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John Chrysostom Church , Arnprior on Wednesday morning at 11 o�clock. Spring interment St. Peter Celestine Parish Cemetery, Indian Hill Road, Pakenham.
