Dear Nancy and Family: We were very saddened to hear of the passing of your father. Nancy and I (Ted's daughter) grew up together, in Arnprior, close friends. I will always remember how talented an artist your dad was. Our deepest condolences. Susan and Family.

Stephen and Shaundra - Gayle and I wish to extend our deepest sympathies to you, your wonderful children and other relatives. Although I didn't personally know Ted Oelsner, I can tell from enjoying the friendship of your family and from reading the interesting description in the obituary that he had a lasting positive influence and will be sorely missed. May God bring you comfort and needed energy during this difficult period.

We are all very saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Ted. We all have fond memories of him, some of us knew him much longer than others. He will be truly missed especially by those of us who knew him through church, golf and curling. Our thoughts and prayers are with Iva, Steve, Nancy and families during this difficult time. Rejoice in the hope that one day you will once again all be together. Sam & Alva, Bud & Diane, Ken & Johanna Hilton Head, South Carolina

Aunty Iva,Stephen,Nancy & families My favorite poem...hope it helps in your loss. Will see you at the wake and funeral but there will be so many people there...and emotions make it difficult to communicate effectively. For a favorite Uncle: You can shed tears that he is gone, or you can smile because he has lived. You can close your eyes and pray that he'll come back, or you can open your eyes and see all he's left. Your heart can be empty because you can't see him, or you can be full of the love you shared. You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday, or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday. You can remember him and only that he's gone, or you can cherish his memory and let it live on. You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back, or you can do what he'd want: smile, open your eyes, love, and go on.

Aunt Iva, Stephen, Nancy and families: My deepest sympathies. I'll never forget the twinkle in the corner of Uncle Ted's eyes. I always thought he knew something I needed to know but wasn't quite smart enough to understand. Our memories of him will only serve to make us better people. My deepest regrets that I cannot be there. God Bless. John
