Suddenly but peacefully in hospital at Ottawa while surrounded by his loving family on Saturday afternoon, March 11th, 2006. Theophil Herman �Ted� Oelsner of Arnprior at the age of 77 years. Beloved husband and best friend for over 51 years of Iva (Nee Delahunt). Loved father of Stephen ( and his wife Shaundra) and Nancy Brown (and her husband Stephen), all of Arnprior. Proud grandpa of Nathaniel, Maegan, Joshua, Zachary Oelsner; Matthew, Dean and Caleb Brown. Dear brother of Charlotte Petzold (late Max) of Ottawa and Rudolph Oelsner (Dorothy) of B.C. Predeceased by 2 brothers: Rev. Godfrey Oelsner (Irene of B.C.) and Martin Oelsner. Ted was a keen outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting and walking. Ted was a competitive curler having won several Club Championships at the Arnprior Curling Club. An avid golfer, Ted will be missed by the senior men at the Arnprior Golf Club and his fellow golfers in the Thursday Night Group. He was also an accomplished Ottawa Valley artist where many of his fine works can be found in homes and businesses. Ted will long be remembered as a devout member of St. John�s Lutheran Church, Arnprior
