Obituary of Gillies Smyth

SMYTH, Gillies (Former Owner - Arnprior Dairy Queen) Peacefully in hospital at Arnprior while surrounded by his loving family on Sunday afternoon, July 2nd, 2006. Arthur Gillies Smyth of White Lake at the age of 87 years. Beloved husband and best friend for 60 years (June 1st, 2006) of Marion (nee Gordon). Dearly loved father of Bruce (Linda) of White Lake, Sylvia Dayle of Toronto, Saralee Smyth (Tim Wilson) of Ottawa and Shirley Smyth of Newmarket. Loved brother of Evalene Davis (late Reg) of Woodlawn. Predeceased by his brother Ross Smyth. Treasured grandfather of Melissa (Jamie), Kris (Davis), Matthew (Layla), Joshua and Lauren. Friends may join us for visitation at the PILON FAMILY FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and after 1 o�clock on Thursday. Funeral Service to be conducted in the Pilon Family Chapel, Arnprior on Thursday, July 6th at 2 o�clock. Rev. Heather Kinkaid officiating. Interment Pakenham Union Cemetery.
