BOND, Versal Edward (Proud WWII Veteran) Lord Strathcona Div. (October 22, 1918 - November 22, 2006) After missing his adored wife so much for nearly three long years (February 24, 2004), Versal was finally reunited in Heaven with his Mary. Much loved and devoted father and mentor of Bonnie Russell of Arnprior, Brenda Howat (Don) of Kanata, Elizabeth �Betty� Fox (Rob) of Newmarket and Dale Marie Bond-Morgan (Ray) of Hudson, Wisconsin. Cherished �Grampa� of Jeffrey and Lesley Howat, Jennifer Hartwick, Paul and Jaclyn Vice and 3 great-grandchildren: Mackenzie, Victoria and Nathan Hartwick. Dear brother of Allan Bond (Simone) of Arnprior. Predeceased by 4 brothers: Kenneth, Harry, Cecil (late �Net�) and Alvin Bond as well as 3 sisters: Isabelle Smyth (late Hugh), Daisy Stevenson (late Jack) and Pauline �Toots� Frivalt (late Tanner). Versal was also predeceased by his parents: Amelia Pauline Duhn and Edward Louis Bond. He will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, friends, euchre partners and countless acquaintances. Friends may join us for visitation at the Pilon Family Funeral Home & Chapel, 50 John Street North, Arnprior On Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and after 10 a.m. Saturday. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John Chrysostom Church, Arnprior on Saturday, November 25th at 12 o�clock noon. Interment Malloch Road Cemetery. In memory of Versal, donations to the St. John Chrysostom Church Memorial Fund, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Braeside or the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 174 Arnprior would be appreciated by his family. Members of the RCL Branch 174, Arnprior will assemble at the funeral home for a tribute service on Friday evening at 6:15 p.m. Members of the Knights of Columbus, Council 2082, Arnprior will assemble at the Funeral Home for prayers on Friday evening at 6:45 p.m.
