Moments I will never forget with the Hunter Family
My father & mother ...Cliff & Enid Turcotte useto take us four up the river every weekend and we would all gather pur housebosts either at the Fort orup at the rock. The beach near the plant with the warm wateron one side and the freezing cold on the other.
Mr. Hunter and Mrs. hunter were always so much fun, Stan had a great laugh and was always around to fix something if the need arose. Great man and a wonderful example of a father, friend and son to his beautiful bless her heart dear Mrs. Hunter ....Mr Hunter you will be missed by many and the Ottawa will always call for you. Rest in peace and my love and prayers go out to Mrs. Hunter, Wendy, Hughie, Ann and Lyn and families......hold your memmories close they will comfort you in times of saddness. What can you say about a man like Stan Hunter? He was a true friend of the family, ready to help, share,provided our family with the start of great memories with house boating. Him and my Dad shared great times Fixin things....he said at my Dads funeral that there was not a time that he spent with Cliff that he didn't learn something! However they learnt and taught each other! Wonderful giggle and laugh! He truly was the King of the Ottawa! Our heart felt sympathy to Sheila, Hughy, Wendy,Roonie and Ann! Aunt Sheila and all the family, It is with great sadness that I say goodbye to Uncle Stan. What a great uncle he was. I have so many memories of him up the river as well as the partying with all those crazy Donnellys! I will forever remember him with his Pims drink. He loved life and lived with passion. I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Stan, another part of our memories gone, I can't help but only remember the many laughs we all had together and mom and dad's escapades with him, he was always fun, friendly and kind.
