Dear Ann, Hughie, Lynn, Wendy and family, Reena and I would like to extend our sincerest condolences for you at this time. Sheila was a great person and an excellent mother and grandmother. She raised wonderful children and was a big part of her grandchildren's lives. Alan always spoke very highly of both Sheila and Stan and shared many stories of how much fun they were when he was growing up. It is always unfortunate to lose a loved one, but in these times we can remember fondly the lives they lived and know that you will always cherish the memories you carry in your hearts. I wish that I could have been there in person to see all the family members that I've grown close to throughout the years, but rest assured our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Love, Brian and Reena

Dear "Rooney", Wendy, Hughie, Lynn and families, I am so sorry to learn of your mom's passing. In memories that go back to grade 3, I remember Sheila always so full of life and laughter and great stories. I was fortunate to get to know her as a person, not just a mom, when we took ceramics in high school and moms and teens mixed together in the studio. My dominant image of her has her poised with brush in hand intently removing seams from greenware. And over the many, many years since I have watched from the sidelines and seen the great love she had for her family and for each of you. I hope that the memories you share together today and in the months ahead can celebrate her indomitable spirit and help heal the loss your will feel. The world is less today, and heaven richer, having her there now with Stan.

What a wonderful kind loving fun lady….she was the mother of the river, quick to assist, join in, whether you were one of hers or not you got treated the same way…good or bad…smile. She was such a hard worker, great mother, business woman and grand mom too! She loved her children so much and so proud of you all. I loved her laugh, and her intentness into any conversation. She always had a treat for us, our whole family loved your parents so much, they were our summer family! We will miss her, however she lives on in you all…we will continue the life on the river t and remember fondly the days. Look forward to seeing you all up the River! Love prayers and hugs to you all! xoxoxo I bet they are having the best time all together again!

Dear Wendy , Hughie, Ann and Lynn, It is with great sadness that I write this note to you all to extend our sympathy to all of you and your families. The world has lost a great lady. No one could ever replicate that laugh of your Mom's or her great storytelling ability. I told Aunt Dianne yesterday when she told me of your Mom's passing that not many people welcomed a family with 13 kids but your mother always welcomed us. Her hospitality and her hugs are burnt in my memories of great days on the river. I know that all of you inherited her love of people, her kindness and her huge appetite for life and so in all of you she lives on . I like to imagine that there is a houseboat heaven and our parents are enjoying a "sunset toddy" and a few laughs together ! You were blessed with wonderful parents and I know that those blessings will carry you through this difficult time. With love, prayers and tears, Julie on behalf of all my family.
