Obituary of Sheila Hunter

HUNTER, Sheila (Former owner Christel's Hair Salon, Arnprior) Peacefully at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute while surrounded by loved ones on Saturday afternoon, June 21st, 2014; Sheila Laura Hunter of Arnprior passed away at the age of 79. Dear daughter of the late Harold and Laura (Clouthier) Donnelly. Beloved wife of the late Stan Hunter (September 3, 2013). Dearly loved mother of Wendy Fraser (Bruce); Hugh Hunter (Ruth); Ann Sybiraj (John) and Lynn Jordan (Jerry). Cherished "Nanny" of Alan Sybiraj (April), Patrick Jordan and Erin Fraser. Predeceased by a grandson Michael Sybiraj (1988) and a granddaughter Jessica Jordan (2004). Dear sister of Shirley Mohns (late Ellard); Joan Mohns (Leonard); Diane Clouthier (late Billy) and Roxanne Charette (Larry). Predeceased by a sister, Elizabeth "Libby" Lemieux (late Royal) as well as 3 brothers-in-law: Jack Hunter (late Ann); Lloyd Hunter (late Alice) and Fred Hunter (late Denise). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to share their memories of Sheila with her family during visitation at the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Wednesday, June 25th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and again on Thursday from 9 until 9:45 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Braeside on Thursday morning, June 26th at 10:30. Cremation will follow. In memory of Sheila, a donation to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated by her family.
