Obituary of Bernard Ruddy

RUDDY, Bernie In hospital at Arnprior on Tuesday evening, November 25th, 2008. Bernard James "Bernie" Ruddy of Arnprior at the age of 82 years. Beloved husband of the late Nora Shaw (June 24, 2003). Loving father of Peter Ruddy (Kathy) and Marcia McKellar (David). Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren: Joshua, Chad, Jonathan and Kyle and great-grandchildren: Sadie and Phoenix. Brother-in-law of Dorothy Ruddy, Sandi Fahie (Terry), Wanda Shaw (late Don), Pat Shaw (late Bev) and Beverly Shaw (late Doug).Predeceased by brothers Jack and Bill Ruddy. Bernie will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Friends may join us for visitation at the Pilon Family Funeral Home, 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. only. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Braeside on Saturday morning, November 29th at 11 o'clock. Spring interment St. Peter Celestine Parish Cemetery, Indian Hill. In memory of Bernie, a donation made to the Arnprior Hospital "Partners in Caring" Campaign would be appreciated by his family. Members of the K of C, Council 2082, Arnprior will assemble at the Funeral Home for prayers on Friday evening at 6:45 p.m.
