Debbie Reid & Family: This is Tom McMahon from London, Ontario. Sorry to be so late sending you this condolence. Debbie, I sure wanted to acknowledge the passing of your Mother. When I heard about it I was shocked because I thought your Mother was in good health. I remember so clearly my wife Liz and I having a good chat with your Mother when my Mother past away. I can say that I loved your Mother and really appreciated her friendship with my Mother. Your Mother was a really good person and I'm deeply sorry to hear of her passing. May God bless you Debbie and I'm sure you will be able to carry forth the respected legacy that your Mother left you and your family. Love Tom & Liz McMahon.

My heart goes out to Brent, Ray, Debbie, Dale and Greg at the very sad loss of their lovely mother. I remember Joey as an enthusiastic, cheerful and kind lady. She performed wonderfully in her varied roles as a wife, mother, career woman, and later in life as a highly-respected matriarch. She set a high standard for her children and grandchildren to follow.

Dear Greg, Paula, Meaghan and Paige, I was so sorry to hear about Joey. She was such a wonderful friend to my Grandmother Ferne. I don't have any childhood memories from the farm that don't included her. I hope all your wonderful memories help you all through this difficult time. Take Care, Kelly, Emma and Laura Lamb

To the Farrell Family My deepest sympathies for your loss. Having experienced the loss of my mother two years ago I know the emptiness you now feel in your hearts. Mothers are very special people and I'm sure she knew how much you loved her. I have very fond memories Mrs Farrell, growing up as a "Harbour brat", likely spending far too much time in her house. The pain will subside and its the memories that you share and cherish that keeps her alive in your hearts. Steve Clouthier Fitzroy Harbour

To the Fitzroy Farrell's:::: I was very lucky to have 2 families growing up, one in Ottawa and one in Fitzroy Harbour. Aunty Joe was the country mom who made sure we all had 'freshee' when we were small and delicious buns when we got older. I had the great opportunity to work with Joey ( couldn't call her Aunty at work ) at Scotiabank in Arnprior and she was of great comfort when dad passed away. It's been quite a journey. Memories never end

To all the Farrell Family. We are so sorry for your loss as we have lost a friend of our family. Joey was so good to my mom and looked out for her at the Royal Scot. Joey put up with the antics of Ed Reid & I over the years with many late night phone calls, but always left us with a laugh or a come back to put us in our place. She had strength, humour, religion and a loving heart. Her legacy is her family....so she has done extremely well !! Love from Lynn, Jerry & Patrick Jordan.

She was a great lady with a good sense of humour! She loved that we called our son "Joey" and joked that we must have named him after her! We'll all miss her. Take care.
