Obituary of Josephine Farrell

FARRELL, Josephine "Joey" (September 11, 1926 - January 24, 2009) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joey Farrell which took place at the Arnprior Hospital on Saturday morning. Daughter of the late Albert Cannon and the late Anna Ruddy. Beloved wife of the late Cecil "Cec" Farrell (November 27, 1985). Dearly loved mother of Ray (Sheryl Roy) of Amherstview, Debbie Reid (Ed) of Arnprior, Brent (Jackie) of Belleville, Dale (Shelley) of Arnprior and Greg (Paula) of Stittsville. Cherished and proud "Granny" of James, Brendan, Tara, Dana, Ashley, Jennifer, Shannon, Kayla, Adam, Brett, Corey, Meaghan and Paige and "GG" of Owen, Maeve, Lucas and Kyle. Dear sister and friend of Marie Cosgrave (Tony) of Victoria, B.C. Special sister-in-law of Alice Cannon (late Bill) of OttawaLorena Delahunt (late John) of Fitzroy Harbour, Shirley Parfett (Don) of Cornwall and Isobel Farrell (late Leslie) of Kanata. Joey was also predeceased by her brother-in-law Denzil Farrell (late Helen). Friends may join us for visitation at the Pilon Family Funeral Home, 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and again after 9:30 a.m. Thursday. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Braeside on Thursday morning, January 29th at 11 o'clock. Spring interment St. Michael's Parish Cemetery, Fitzroy Harbour. In memory of Joey, a donation made to the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish Memorial Fund or the Arnprior Hospital "Partners in Caring" campaign would be appreciated by the family. Members of the CWL will assemble at the funeral home for prayers on Wednesday evening at 6:30 p.m.
