Sincere condolences to all of the Whyte family, and especially my colleague Doug, at this time of loss. Doug, I know how much your Mom meant to you from the tribute that you made at your recent retirement celebration. I know how difficult these circumstances must be. I hope that you all find strength in the love that your Mom fostered throughout her life. In that love, she still lives.

To: Brenda, Brian; Michael; Doug, Caryn; Barton, Debbie: I'm truly sorry that circumstances prevent me from being with you during this trying time of loss that we all feel. Take solace in the fact that Daisy had a long and wonderful life. She lived life to the fullest and was constantly able to get the most possible out of every day. She will be remembered fondly by everyone whose life she touched. Be strong and from now on, whenever you hear a clap of thunder in the sky, know that it's her, in heaven slapping a table at the conclusion of a winning euchre hand.
