Obituary of Daisy Whyte

WHYTE, Daisy Peacefully at Forest Hill, Kanata on Tuesday morning, June 9th, 2009. Daisy Ellen Mary Whyte of Arnprior at the age of 96 years. Dear daughter of the late Harry McIntyre and the late Mary O'Sullivan. Beloved wife of the late Jack Whyte (1996). Dearly loved mother of Michael of Arnprior, Douglas (Caryn St.Amand) of Ottawa, Barton (Debbie Russett) of Braeside and Brenda Mellor (Brian) of Ottawa. Predeceased by a daughter, Jillian Doskoch. Dear mother-in-law of Wally Doskoch of Toronto. Dear sister of Marguerite Mills of Smiths Falls. Predeceased by her only brother, Michael "Mickey" McIntyre and one sister, Edna Olynyk. Dear sister-in-law of Viola McIntyre of Arnprior. Fondly remembered by 12 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews. Friends may join us for visitation at the Pilon Family Funeral Home, 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and after 12:15p.m. on Friday. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John Chrysostom Church, Arnprior on Friday afternoon, June 12th at 1:30. Interment will follow at the Malloch Road Cemetery. In remembrance, a donation made to the Arnprior Hospital "Partners in Caring" campaign would be appreciated by Daisy's family. Members of the Catholic Women's League will assemble at the funeral home for prayers on Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock.
