Obituary of Jean Baker

BAKER, Jean Peacefully in Almonte Country Haven in the early morning of January 10, 2010. Laura Jean Baker (nee Gilmour) formerly of Arnprior at the age of 95 years. Daughter of the late Charles Gilmour and the late Laura Cuthbertson. Beloved wife of the late William "Bill" Baker. Dearly loved mother of Joan Wood (late David) and Bill Baker (Sherry) all of Arnprior and Margaret Christy (Dick) of Elgin. Cherished "Nana" of Scott Baker (Andrée), Alyssa Moore (Jamie), April (Alan Sybiraj), Ken Wood (Sharon), Andrew Wood (France), Sean Christy (Leigh) and Kevin Christy (Angie) and great-nana of James, Victoria, Nicolas, Norah, Ruth, Sarah, Abbi, William, Robert, Alex and Avery. Predeceased by her brother Ken Gilmour (late Nesta), her sister Isabel Dazé (late Tony) and her daughter-in-law Barb. Will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Friends may join us for visitation at the Pilon Family Funeral Home, 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and after 9:30 a.m. Wednesday. A Funeral Service will be celebrated in the Pilon Family Chapel on Wednesday morning, January 13th, 2010 at 11 o'clock. Rev. Brian Barr officiating. Interment will follow at Albert Street Cemetery, Arnprior.
