Obituary of Elizabeth Murray

MURRAY, Betty (Retired - Algonquin College) Suddenly in hospital, Ottawa following a brave struggle with cancer on Thursday afternoon, January 14th, 2010. Elizabeth Frances "Betty" Murray of Arnprior at the age of 66 years. Beloved wife and best friend of Hal. Dearly loved mother of Casey Quinton (Ray) and Quinn Demers (René), both of Kanata and Leslie Murray-O'Brien (Michael) of Pakenham. Adored and treasured "Grandma" of Cole, Liam and Shane Quinton; Joshua Demers, Grace and Emily O'Brien. Dear sister of Cyril Carroll (Carol) of Barry's Bay; Leanne Castling (Rick) of Winnipeg; Cathy Carroll of Renfrew and Mary Hill (Scott) of Richmond. Friends may join us for visitation at the Pilon Family Funeral Home, 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Wednesday, January 20th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and after 9:30 a.m. Thursday. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John Chrysostom Church, Arnprior on Thursday morning, January 21st at 11 o'clock. Interment Malloch Road Cemetery. For those wishing, a donation made to the Arnprior Hospital "Partners in Caring" campaign or the "Raise the roof" campaign of St. John Chrysostom Church would be appreciated by Betty's family.
