Alex will be dearly missed by his canine companion, Lady. Strong, smart, loyal and devoted are but a few of the words that describe Alex and the life he lived. He was an entrepreneur and a risk taker and he built a business which became one of Ottawa's best known and trusted names in real estate. He was Past President of the Real Estate Institute of Canada; Past President Ottawa Real Estate Board; Past National Chairman, Institute of Real Estate Management (Canada). He also held many other prestigious titles during his career which spanned over 5 decades. A committed Ottawa Senators fan and Carleton Ravens basketball alumnus fan, Alec will also be remembered for his love of sports which included being a regular cheerleader at his children and then grandchildren's sporting events.
