Dear Mary and the Grace family:
I was truly saddened when I heard of Bill's passing. When at the euchre games, he always shared his wit and humour
and his laughter attested to the joy and humour he shared in his life. Time will heal his passing but the many memories he left behind will sustain you and his many friends. The good Lord will welcome him into his garden and fields and will look smiling over Bill for the example he set for other people while on earth.
The heavens are being showered with prayer for Bill and his family.

Well he was a fighter - whether playing cards or managing his health - he was always trying to keep one step ahead of everyone.... although we didn't admit it....ya he usually was.
He loved his family to the extreme and was very proud. Mary you were the light that shone in his eyes and that was so apparent whenever he looked at you, talked to you or someone mentioned your name. You were his partner in every way.
Take care of each other. Fill your days with wonderful memories and moments of laughter as you remember some joke, funny story or the time that Bill.....!!! He made lots of memories for many friends and will be greatly missed by all of us. RIP my friend. Jo

He put up a helluva fight and even though he's gone, I believe he won his battle in a way because he is no longer in pain or suffering. There are many people with many stories, I'm sure, but he will always be my favourite uncle with his own personal little "island".
