To Peter, Marian, John, Adri, and Jo,
It was an honour to be a part of your mother's life, so intimately, for the past two and a half years. Her gifts of laughter and wit, her sense of dignity and independence, and her ability to see the best and the worst with such honesty kept my life worthy. I learned so much from Mary. I am so incredibly grateful that I was chosen to share in her life. I loved Mary very much, and will continue to hold dear that love for the rest of my days.
