My sincerest condolences on the passing of your dear Mother, Grandmother and friend. Faye has always spoken so lovingly of Doris with her many skills and her love of family. She has been a true matriarch and will be very much alive in the hearts of all who knew her.
Our deepest sympathy to the family. We had our cottage next to Alfred and Doris in MacLaren's Landing and enjoyed many a conversation with them about their life experiences and travels abroad. Sitting in their sunroom overlooking the Ottawa River was a special time spent with them, Alfred enjoying his bird watching while Doris enjoyed her needlework. Doris, always well dressed was such a gentle and kind person. We will cherish our fond memories.
Fond memories of Auntie Doris from the UK. She made several trips over here with Uncle Alf - he was English by birth - to visit my parents Lilian (Alf's twin sister)
