Mary, John & Cathy and families,
There is a great emptiness left by Kaye's passing and we are deeply saddened by the loss. Our thoughts and prayers and with you and your family.
We recall Kaye’s love to play cards…… one Saturday there was a euchre tournament in Arnprior and Kaye and her best friend Margaret Sadler call to see if they could get a ride to the tournament. We picked them up and enjoy the day of cards. On our way home Kaye started to talk about her ancestor’s. She asked about the “Coady” homestead; about Uncle Bill and Aunt Kate’s house and barns, were they still there; was the Larkin house still standing; and “TJ” old house. So, on the way home we took a little detour and gave her the tour along Dwyer Hill/Panmure Rd and Rock Coady Trail. She recalled as kids walking across the fields in bare feet to visit with her aunts and uncles and all the fun times. She talked about having sleep overs at Uncle Bills and Aunt Kate's and sleeping on the old feather mattress and it being cold as hell when she got up in the morning. She could not believe how much the area had changed. We were so fortunate to have shared these special moments with Kaye and to take her back in time and reminisce her childhood memories and old times.
Rest in peace my lovely lady.
