We are so sorry that we couldn't attend the service in person. We are deeply saddened by the loss of Aunt Sybil. She was a wonderful, warm and caring woman and will be deeply missed. May the care and love of those around you provide comfort and peace to get you through the days ahead. Uncle Reggie and Aunt Sybil are resting peacefully, sharing a dance in the sky together.
"Those we love don't go away,
They walk beside us every day,
Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear." (Anonymous)
Love Rob, Carley and Emily

Sunday February 19th our family lost a spectacular woman. I spent alot of time with my grandparents when I was younger and Port Colborne was my second home. I though I'd have something profound and beautiful to write but i still haven't really processed the idea that I will never hear her soft voice , I will never get another hug from her that was so comforting you felt safe from all that was wrong in the world. Her smile was so contagious and her heart was so unbelievably nurturing. Her unconditional love for her family , and her friends ( she considered all her friends as family ). Grandma gave so much love and compassion to everyone she met , and she was so well known. When you meet a beautiful soul like her it's hard to forget and unbelievably unbearable to let go of.
May you rest your beautiful soul ,sing with the angels , and dance for eternity. Walk the flowery meadows hand in hand with the love of your life . When you and Grandpa said you would be together forever, you meant it.
I love you more , all the way to the sun and the moon and the stars and back again .

How do we go on from here? I can see myself reaching for the phone to call you and then suddenly realize you aren't there. That's what's going to hurt so much. I sit here with a huge lump in my throat and want you back so desperately. Everybody fell in love with you when you smiled and said a simple "hello". You would always say " I'm a hugger, come on, give me a hug. Nobody was a stranger to you. Not even the bank guy you hugged when he had a cold. We all got sick except you. Luck of the Irish, you had.
We always knew we could come back home. Your door was always open to us and so many other kids along our travels that called you " Mom" through the years. You were a fierce fighter and fought so hard with Dads help to make it back to us after your strokes. I couldn't be prouder that you are my Mom and I could always count on you. I will always be thankful to you for saving my life when Peter was born. We survived because of you and Dad. I love you. I miss you. I try to take comfort that you are again with Dad. XOXO I know you will be watching over us. In my dreams we will talk again. When my time comes I will be expecting you and Dad to be waiting for me.
Love you to the Moon and back. I have Topogigo and he will have a place of honour with Dads cap and pillow.

John, Sheryl and the Hanna family, I am so sorry for your loss. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Sybil these past few months. She radiated a spirit of kindness and warmth. She spoke of you all with love.....And that love shone right through those beautiful blue eyes! She was always ready to share a story and treated everyone around her with respect. May you draw comfort in knowing that you were all so good to her and she knew it. If I can use the words she told me often when speaking of you " I love you to the moon and back" and she would point to the plaque on her wall and look at me with a huge smile. She always made sure I understood.

Dear Kelly John Peter and Families: It was with great sadness to receive the call to hear our Dear Friend had passed. Sybil was a wonderful friend with a warm caring heart and a loving smile for all who knew her. She was full of love and so proud of her family. She wore that beautiful smile when ever anyone was around her. She will forever hold precious memories of the great times we spent with her as a Friend and Rebekah. Dezeray will always love her Grandma Pepples. WE wish we could be with you Saturday. But you will be in our thoughts and prayers. Love to All. Linda and Dezeray

Mom
How do you say goodbye to the woman who gave you life, picked you up and dusted you off every time you fell, took more pride in your accomplishments than you did and loved you during the best and worst times of your life...unconditionally? You will always and forever be in my heart. Love you to the moon and back Mom.
