To Gwen and Marguerite's family..... Like Liz - the first question was always about her name. I loved Spring as that was usually the first visit to my office each year to make sure all was in order - and of course have a little chat. She was a busy social butterfly who always brought a smile to your world. She will be missed by many but she has left lasting memories for all of us to share. Jo-Anne

Gwen, I was so surprised to hear of the passing of your aunt. I first met her at the euchres in Braeside and later at The Villa Euchres. I really enjoyed playing with her. She will surely be missed.

Gwen and all of Marguerite's family: My thoughts and prayers are with you all. She was one of the most independent and strong minded ladies I have ever met. If one's attitude could keep them alive - then Marguerite would have accomplished that in aces. The first time I spoke with her (six years ago), she asked do you know how to spell my name?, as most did not, she stated. I laughed and felt confident telling her I did (Ron's Aunt had the same name). She returned by saying you may be the first! I always remember that conversation - just a small thing but one that always stayed with me. I will miss her. God Bless all in Heaven named Marguerite. . XXX

We will miss Marguerite in Florida. We have had so much fun playing jokers & pegs with her & going to dinner after. Our weekly girls craft day @ her& our dear friend Pauline's will never be the same. Our breakfast crew will also miss her so much. R.I.P. Dear friend.

Dear Gwen and family On behalf of all the members of the Pakenham Horticultural Society, I send sincere condolences at the loss of Aunt Marguerite. She was a beautiful lady inside and out. We admired her independence, driving to Florida each winter on her own. We always knew it was springtime, when Marguerite arrived back at our meetings, to help with the tea and cookies or the plant sale. We will surely miss her.
