I am deeply saddened by the passing of a dear friend betty I met Betty 11 yrs ago when I first moved to Arnprior from England. I use to be her hairdresser but quickly became friends. Betty was always there fore me and took on a motherly role to me and my 2 children. I always admired her strength as a single parent and her compassion for others. I enjoyed hearing all her stories about her life and career. She will be greatly missed.

A great lady has left us. I had the opportunity to meet Betty professionally and our work relationship turned into a long life friendship. She was a role model for me and my family, a woman of principles and morals and a hard working individual always ready to thrive with her wonderful smile. I am out of the country right now and I am missing her already very very much. I am sending my best wishes to all the family and particularly Donna, Walter, Rose and her beloved grandchildren. Away from Canada for many years now, I learned with great sadness through a common friend of the passing away of Betty. I was fortunate enough to cross paths with her professionally. She was an outstanding person and a model to me: for her positive outlook on life, her morals, her work ethics, and the fun to be around her. I am sure that she kept fondly memories of our interaction, as I do. She lives in our thoughts and our prayers; she was very accomplished in her life, but above and beyond that, she contributed greatly to society. I accompany you all in our great loss.
