The impact that Mrs. Hunt had on my life is everlasting. The kindness she showed me as a child, the guidance she showed me as my teacher, even if it was just in Kindergarten, is something I always will remember. Even though she was my teacher 30 plus years ago, I ran into her in the grocery store a few years ago, and she still remembered my name. That is amazing. We chatted for a few minutes, and we talked about what we both had been up to all these years. It was great to run into her and catch up. All of the children she has taught over the years, and she still remembered my name. She was a wonderful woman and I'm sad to see that she has left this earth. My sincerest condolences to her family and friends. Mrs. Hunt was one of a kind with a heart of gold and a kindness that will stay with me forever.

Mervin, Cory(Glenna), Chad(Sarah) families: With heartfelt saddness we read of Judy’s passing. We are presently in Nova Scotia, however, our thoughts and prayers are certainly with you during this most difficult time. Margie did have a very positive visit with Judy in Almonte and Mervin I will be out to see you on our return. Judy was always such a positive person and a pleasure to be a friend. Judy was an exceptional teacher & woman with such a beautiful heart , our children all loved her & always rememberd Mrs. Hunt as being such a nice teacher. We were blessed with having her as a kindergarten teacher as our children started a whole new roll in their young lives. Mrs Hunt was my teacher in the mid 70s... such a kind and wonderful teacher. I would bump into her occasionally over the years and she always remembered my name. My deepest sympathy to the family, she will be sadly missed.
