So sorry to hear of your loss. Was just talking to your Mom the other day. She called conserned about my Mom Lois Lind having had a stroke. I planned on taking Mom to visit her once she got to Rosamond Wing. Your Mom was a good friend to my mother & I. Always kept in touch and asking how we were doing. I enjoyed our talks and laughs. Flora was the only person Mom felt close to since moving to this area 5 years ago. I remember when either one was not feeling well @ Orchard View that they would look after one another. I will see you at the funeral. My sympathy & thoughts are with you.

I remember your mom and dad with fond memories. My mom and dad were good friends. I remember visiting you in Almonte on many an occasion. Nancy and all of the Mathie family, i am so saddened to learn of your dear Mother’s passing. She was an absolute gem of a lady, and I do not use that term lightly!! Ihave so many fond memories of being in your home in Almonte,, and how very kind your mother was to me, when I would be staying with my grandmother {Mildred Stanton} at St. Mary’s parish, during summer holidays. My favourite recall, is of her corn soup,, how I loved it!! Once in awhile, a few years ago,, I would meet up with Flora,, and she would always know me and we would have great visits and chats,, and i would always inquire about you kids,, but more so, Nancy, as we played together way back in the day. I truly hope Nancy, that she did tell you of our visits. I pray that your most precious memories will sustain you during this most difficult time. Sincerely Suzanne..
