Oh the memories I have of Aunt Jean...…..I sure remember the first time I met her when Lorraine (Larry) and I visited she and Uncle Dan. I was being introduced to the family. There was one of the "original" electric washing machines in the middle of the kitchen chugging away, the washboard in the kitchen sink and kids......oh my yes, kids......everywhere so it seemed to me! There in all the confusion of us walking in, stood this gorgeous blonde lady taking everything in her stride telling us to sit down and she would put the kettle on. I thought to myself, how can she stand it...…..well, I will never have that many kids...….oh my no! Little did I know then that I would have 5 little ones running around a few years later! We moved away from the area but usually had time to stop in Arnprior with our brood for a visit. Your Mom was beautiful inside and out and we loved her and Uncle Dan very much. Love to all of you Rose.
