This week has been incredibly exhausting. The death of my father has put us on an emotional ride we simply weren’t prepared for and one we could not have gotten through without the support of our friends and extended family. Amidst the sadness there were many beautiful moments. Sharing your memories, heartfelt tears and your mere presence has gotten us through this incredibly difficult time. Boyd introduced me to drag racing at Luskville and I have loved being there ever since. I will never forget the day he "let me win" at the lights ;) lol. He gave me a special very old Luskville patch for my racing jacket, encouraged me, helped me..I am just going to plain miss him. I loved his talks around the big wooden dining table in the farm house kitchen, and laughed at watching him decide what new parts for his cuda he would "eventually" buy from the latest Jegs magazine!! He loved his Family, his Farm, his Cuda, Music and Barrett Jackson on those cold winter months. I hope he has found Bruce by now, because they were the best of friends. I am not glad he is gone, but there is some peace knowing he is free now, not hooked up to any machine and surely having some great conversations and a good fresh ground coffee with some new found friends where pain is gone..be free my friend.

Sorry to hear of the loss of Boyd he was a great guy and always liked my chats about cars whenever we crossed paths. Boyd I will always remember our chat a few years ago when we were at the gas pumps at the same time with our old cars and then we pulled away from the pumps and stopped and chatted. You will be doing all the things you liked down here up in the clouds now. RIP
