.......Theresa, or always known as Trixie to me, will leave a lasting memory. Never fail, it’s Christmas Eve, and who appears at the summer kitchen door, Uncle Eldon and Aunt Trixie......making the drive to White Lake to visit his sister Irene (my Mom) and her family. A cup of tea, some Christmas goodies, a quick look at the Christmas tree and they were off, for more visits no doubt, and then Mass. They truly brought the Christmas spirit, for there after closer inspection, I always found a small gift marked......”to Karen”....”from Santa”. Yes it took me many years to realize how Santa got that gift in while we were all still awake. Tears fall as I think of those long gone days, and all the special people in my life who are gone. They are out of sight, but, will be remembered for their unique personalities. Sorry you are feeling the loss of another special family member, but, these two sweethearts are in each other’s arms, so worry no more....
