Obituary of Margarita "Margie" Tenido

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Margie at the Toronto General Hospital on Sunday afternoon, December 9, 2018. Margie had been transferred in hopes of receiving a life saving liver transplant however circumstances prevented that from becoming a reality. She was 56. Besides her longtime partner and best friend Yousaf Mohammad, Margie is survived by her mother Adronica Tenido as well as her brother Pataleon and sisters, Saturnina and Medarda and many relatives and friends both in Canada and the Philippines. Margie was a career child care provider who worked tirelessly with many families over the years in raising their children. Relatives and friends were invited to pay their respects during visitation at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 153 Woodroffe Avenue, Ottawa on Friday morning, December 14^th from 10 a.m. until the Funeral Mass celebrated at 11 o’clock. Interment took place in Margie’s hometown in The Philippines. For those wishing to honor Margie in a special way, please consider signing your donor card.
