Dear Bill and Don: I was very sorry to hear that your Mother has passed. Please accept my Sincere Sympathy. Your Mother was one of the nicest ladies in Cedar Hill when I was growing up. It is so fitting that you are holding her funeral at Zion, the little church that we all worshipped in as children.

Bill, Don and families, we want to express our sincere condolences on Elsie's passing. Your mother would always tease me about the Herdford Cattle and why I wasn't in the Holsteins. It was a standing joke for many years. When I read Jo Ann;s post she said it well, all the fun that was had in the fifties and sixties with th frequent visits.Sorry none of can attend tomorrow but we are thinking of you folks and may Elsie rest in peace and her family remember her in the many ways she touched your lives.

My sincere sympathy to Elsie’s family. I remember her from the Curling Club in Pakenham, where She and Art were active members. I was just little and Elsie would always have a trinket from the tea boxes for me. Marbles or figurines. I remember her fondly she was a sweet lady.

Bill and Don and families
Elsie was so very proud of her heritage , her family and her love of life. Many times we would talk about our double relationship and figure out how it was all connected. Lots of laughter
When growing up the Morphy connection was an important part of our lives. Picnics, Sunday drives, card games, visits on the porch at my grandparents and even a wild game of ball with the ladies. Lots of laughter and good times. The Lowe families were always there.
Music was the other memory cherished. Dances. Singing. Fiddles round the piano. How we loved those times.
Those are the memories we will cherish.
