Thursday, January 3, 2019Joe and I are still in shock. Seeing this beautiful picture of dear sweet Elaine is so hard. She was my friend since the 1970s, and I've loved her deeply all these years. So kind-hearted and generous, so loving and cheerful, the world is so depleted with her no longer here. She taught me how to be a friend, how to be a kinder person. I am at a loss as to how to accept this. Bob and Chris and Daniel and Emma, and Elena -- the lights of her life. Linda too. Elaine always said the nicest things about her sister. I hope to meet her at the celebration of life. I am overwhelmed with feelings of sadness. I pray for her soul. Godspeed friend, we'll meet again.

Thursday, January 3, 2019I was friends with Elaine for 37 years .. there has never been a better sister, wife, mom or friend. She put everyone ahead of herself and was generous, kind and loving. She had the best laugh going and was the scrabble queen. To Bob, Christopher, Beth, Elena, Daniel and Emma, and Emma and Les .. you meant everything to her .. she was so proud of all of you and always kept me up to date on your lives. I already miss her so much and will never forget her.
