Ron and I are so saddened by the loss of such a dear friend. Bob, Chris, Dan, Emma and your families, we are so so sorry for your immense loss. Our family was shocked and saddened to learn about Elaine’s passing. She was part of our family for 24 years and we will miss her desperately. She was an amazing person and the world was a better place with her in it. She made a difference with every life she touched. She loved her family and friends and her gardens more than anything. Joe and I are still in shock. Seeing this beautiful picture of dear sweet Elaine is so hard. She was my friend since the 1970s, and I've loved her deeply all these years. So kind-hearted and generous, so loving and cheerful, the world is so depleted with her no longer here. She taught me how to be a friend, how to be a kinder person. I am at a loss as to how to accept this. Bob and Chris and Daniel and Emma, and Elena -- the lights of her life. Linda too. Elaine always said the nicest things about her sister. I hope to meet her at the celebration of life. I am overwhelmed with feelings of sadness. I pray for her soul. Godspeed friend, we'll meet again.

I was friends with Elaine for 37 years .. there has never been a better sister, wife, mom or friend. She put everyone ahead of herself and was generous, kind and loving. She had the best laugh going and was the scrabble queen. To Bob, Christopher, Beth, Elena, Daniel and Emma, and Emma and Les .. you meant everything to her .. she was so proud of all of you and always kept me up to date on your lives. I already miss her so much and will never forget her.
