It is with great sadness to be posting memories of my wonderful Uncle Jack. He was so many things to so many people. He always had a gentle smile, a friendly word and loving advise, when asked for it. He lived life in a positive and gentle manner. We all can take wisdom from such a path. I have a life time of fond memories. Two that stand out for sure is when my son Adam was drafted in hockey, Uncle Jack and family held a family bbq in celebration. We were all so proud and to be blessed by a family of sports enthusiasts, made that time in my sons life very very special. Secondly, in Sept 2018 Uncle Jack, brothers and wives made the trip to see Adam marry the love of his life in Toronto. Their attendance was and is the best gift they could give! We were so proud to have the Levi's with us.
God rest your soul. Each memory will continue to make us smile.
Your Niece, Debbie Levi

Dear Helen and family
I was so sorry to hear of the passing of John Levi.. John was a member of Almonte Baptist Church when I became the Pastor in 2003.
John , Tom and Art were deeply engaged in relocating the Home Hardware to it’s current location. I won’t forget that John gave me a part-time job when I started ministry at ABC to help my income. .
I was of the mind shortly after meeting John that he knew everything! He was a ”go to kind of guy” who had time to listen to anyone with a question. Members of the congregation met with John on occasion to discuss a maintenance problems at the church. He always knew the answer to fix an issue. He involved me in Council meetings in our town with offering prayers and encouraging Council members when He was Mayor.. He came to special Anniversaries at the church to represent the town as Mayor. He always had words of great encouragement.
John did have a faith in God that came out in some of our coffee chats.. Thank you John for influencing my life.

Our hearts go out to the entire Levi family at this very sad time. John was an amazing man: A devoted husband, caring father, loyal brother, loving grandfather, wonderful father-in-law and supportive friend. John was also an honest, hard-working business man and politician who always saw all sides of any issue. We will so miss seeing John at family gatherings; to share food and good times and be able to chat—John was so fun to talk to—but we are very grateful that we have many cherished memories to comfort us. We sincerely hope the Levi family will find comfort in their special memories of John, and all that he was. He was a man that we both admired very much, for many reasons; notably his ability to talk to people from all walks of life in the same respectful, relaxed, engaged way.
