Bruce, Katie and Kyle please accept our sympathies at the loss of one of the truest "hockey moms" in the valley. Back in the day - when the 1994's were growing into young men on and off the ice, Lori was there as a vibrant supporter of Kyle and his team-mates. Lori never missed a beat for life. Her optimism was evident throughout her illness. We last ran into Lori at the hospital (she was going in and we were coming out), regardless she was stoic in her disposition. We are unfortunately out of the country this week, but please know we will be thinking of your family at this difficult time. You will be in our thoughts and prayers. Bruce, Katie & Kyle There are no words. I am so very sorry for your loss of your wife and mom. I met Lori through hockey when Kyle & Mathew played together. Our love of hockey and watching our boys play brought the best hockey moms and fathers together. I have such great memories of Lori always opening up her home for get together's after hockey games. She always had a smile and was so fun to be around she loved life. At hockey games she kept us moms warm with her peppermint schnapps and hot chocolate. When I meet you at the perley gates i hope I have a peppermint schnapps and hot chocolate waiting. It was such a great honor to have met you and had you in our life. Thinking of you all with the difficult days ahead. Cherish all the great memories and keep them close to your heart. Another special angel watching over you.
