A friend and former mother-in-law, Lillian (I couldn't stop calling her Mrs.Pelicos) was forever a very classy lady. Even though we hardly saw each other over the past years, she was always in my thoughts. We shared many happy moments together, talking, shopping and crocheting. She had quite the life, being married young and raising all those children. Never complained about anything, always so positive, she was beautiful inside and out. Probably because she took care of herself, eating properly before it was fashionable and being an avid reader brought her much intelligence and kept her memory sharp. She will certainly be missed by Jamie and myself, so sorry not to have been home when this happened, our condolences to the whole family.

Dear Helen, Gina & Your Family:
I remember speaking to your mum over 20 years ago and by that phone call which she was delightful, understanding and sweet not knowing who I was really, but because of her love of her family she told me about you and Gina so I could get in touch - I will be forever be great full for that kindness.
You and Gina were so much comfort to me when my daughter passed away, I want you to know I understand and am thankful that we know The Truth and Jehovah's kindness, promise and comfort we all have at times like this.
You shared many scriptures Isaiah 11:1-9, Revelation 21:1-5 and John 5:28.
Your family was close and loving which came from Lillian
Sincerely,
Wendy Forsyth Shellabarger

Grandma Pelicos.
For such a little lady, she had so much love!
Loved going to grandma's house (the haunted one) with a semi-circular libray wall with every book and subject you could think of! Grandma was a walking encyclopedia, such a smart lady. It was exciting cause grandma's house had a secret set of stairs leading from upstairs down into the kitchen like in the movie "Matilda". Then there was the secret door off the bathroom that led into a painting room. So much fun, grandma would let us play with clay models and teach us how to make bust sculptures. She loved to paint with watercolors and oil paints. Grandma never cared how much of a mess we made as long as we were happy. She would set up for tea and cookies and always was in the kitchen making herself busy!
Everytime I went to visit, I can still hear her say, "Oh Wendy!"
she would grab my face and give me a kiss. Always happy with her little dogs and there were several. I remember the little chihuahuas "Mitsy and Gypsy" and then the one dog I used to walk "Monty" Grandma hardly went out but when she did she was dressed to the nines to head down to the opportunity shop for a bargain or off to giant tiger. She was such a joyful lady and her memories will live long within my heart.
