My deepest sympathies to the rivers family, Norm, I'm sorry I never had a chance to say goodbye, it was only today I found out about your passing, and I was deeply saddened, as a contractor that worked for u at saand, I looked forward each and every time to come out and deal with you on your lift truck needs, it was always fun, lol and you had very good one liners, and plenty of smack, not bad for a Sudbury boy, lolol u made me feel welcome, very pro norm, and I will miss you for sure buddy, and if u have pull were you r, I'm sure u do, can you maybe help our boys the Montreal Canadians win a cup, good bye norm, sleep well my freind

Norm, you were deeply loved and loved deeply. Your family was our family, my family, yours. Family isn't blood, it's love.
Those that knew you, even a little, will remember you, your quick laugh and smile, your support, your love. Our hearts are broken and our lives greatly impacted by your passing. You were the brother I never had, James' best friend, uncle Norm to my kids.

My deepest condolences to the family and friends of Norm. I've known Norm for 23 yrs.and I've never seen him in a bad mood. His happiness rubbed off on everybody he talked to. You will be greatly missed my friend.
Norm was a pleasure to work with. I had the privilege of working with Norm for the past 3 years. His positive look on life will never be forgotten. Every time I asked him how his day was going or how was he was that day, the answer was always "Awesome".
