Obituary of Elwyn Kealey

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Elwyn Ernest Kealey on April 17, 2019 at the age of 74. Elwyn will forever be missed and lovingly remembered by his best friend and beloved wife of nearly 50 years, Phyllis (née Benoit), his three cherished children, Rhonda (Larry McCann), Ryan (Tammy Paquette), and Allison (Brad Shirley), and his five beautiful grandchildren Liam, Colin, Brayden, Gracie, and Harper. Dearly loved brother of Shirley (the late Dan McCambley), Martin (Sandra Cuddihey), and predeceased by younger brother Leith (Carole Hébert). Elwyn will be fondly remembered by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends. A Funeral Mass was celebrated in St. John Chrysostom Church, Arnprior, on Thursday, April 25^th at 1:00 pm. A reception followed. Private family interment at the Malloch Road Cemetery. The family would like to sincerely thank all the staff at the Ruddy-Shenkman Hospice in Kanata, as well as the Regional Palliative Care team, for their kindness, compassion, and tireless dedication. Elwyn’s final care has been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior.
