Dr Persaud was my family physician from childhood until I left Arnprior in the late 90’s. He was a gentle, kind, and caring man with a great sense of humour. I have found no other physician like him since - he was one-of-a-kind. My sincere condolences to the family.

Dr Persaud was our family Dr from the first week we set foot on Canadian soil
41 years ago and he was our Family Dr to the day he retired. A brilliant, caring and compassionate Dr and a wonderful human being, a very tough act to follow.

Paul and i had the absolute pleasure and blessing for having met/hosted Sat and crossed paths during his Remote Area Medical Volunteer (RAM Canada) Mission to our very isolated interior of Guyana.
We are sad to learn of his passing but Sat's life is to be clelebrated. We remember his quiet humour and unending energy in providing medical care to our indigenous communities.

After reading through all the condolences, the respect and love given to this wonderful gentleman Doctor knows no bounds.
Every time we chatted, I told him he was too young to retire and I missed him so much. He would laugh and tell me he was too busy to work anymore. He was such a serene soul as he shows in his paintings.

Guin and Family:
Dr. Persaud was our family's doctor since we got married in 1968 until he retired. He delivered both our children and always took good care of myself, my husband and my children for many years. He was a great doctor, very wise and caring, and my family and the people of Arnprior were very fortunate to have him in Arnprior. Our whole family is very sad to hear of his passing. .....dear Persaud Family........deepest sympathy in your loss.
Dr Persaud was my doctor from the age of 17, 1972, til he decided to retire.
He was there for me, and my family, through births and deaths.
A quiet unassuming man, who enjoyed a good laugh, I can still hear
his laugh. He was a fixture in the halls, as he did his rounds daily.
It was well known that he enjoyed a “good game of golf”.
Cherish your memories of this kind soul and keep him close to your heart.

Uncle Sat was a fine and gentle man, a man to whom the Hippocratic Oath was a serious bond which evinced itself in the way he cared for his patients.
Having had the pleasure of playing golf with him, I can also say that his golfing was a true reflection of the way he conducted his life, with a calm equanimity and quiet passion.
He has left an indelible mark on all who crossed paths with him, and the true mark of a man is the memories he leaves behind.
I do hope that Guin and the rest of the family will find some comfort in the memory of the many precious moments they have shared.
Those of us who may be unable to lend our presence will be grieving from afar, and send our love and prayers.
