Obituary of Madelaine Montgomery

With heavy hearts, we announce that Madelaine passed away quite suddenly but peacefully at The Grove Nursing Home in Arnprior on Monday afternoon, July 1, 2019. She was 90. Beloved wife and best friend of Robert “Bob” Montgomery. Dearly loved mother of Larry (Donna Lyn) and Lee and stepmother of Cindy Gladish (Paul), Nancy Medveduke (Ted), Scott Montgomery (Elizabeth) and Jacqueline Wogrinetz (Bruce). Cherished grandmother of Andrea, Ashley, Kyle, Dayna, Lewis, Bradley and Victoria and great-grandmother of Carmen, Charley, Dewey, Kade, Jackson and Abby. Lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. The last surviving child of the late Philippe and Eugénie (nee Brunet) St. Denis; Madelaine was also predeceased by 4 brothers: Royal, Philippe Jr., Romeo and Maurice St. Denis as well as 6 sisters: Rita Blais, Jeanne-Mance “Jane” Goulet, Annette Payette, Cécile St. Denis, Colombe Desjardins and Jean Charbonneau.  Madelaine’s final care has been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior where visitation was held on  Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and again on Thursday from 8:45 to 9:15. A Funeral Mass was celebrated in St. John Chrysostom Church, Arnprior on Thursday morning, July 4^th at 10 o’clock. Interment Malloch Road Cemetery, Arnprior.
