Our hearts go out to our dear and precious friend, Mary, and the family she so loves—Ben, Charlotte, Addy and Emmerson — to extend God’s great strength and comfort in the midst of their shared loss. We would like to express our condolences to our cousins, Bruce's children, on the death of their father. Bruce lived with our family (Aunt Betty-Jean and Uncle Don Davis) for a number of years after the death of his parents, when he was young . Bruce was a close cousin during those days in Stratford and we were so pleased when he settled into life in Ottawa and was happy there with his own family. We are so sorry Bruce died so young and our thoughts and love are with his children and all of his family. With our sympathies, Rosemary, Elizabeth, Barbara and Sandra (Davis)

Bruce was an outstanding team mate. He was a deep thinker. Naturally quiet and unassuming, he would normally weigh into a discussion after much debate - he had the knowledge and experience to assimilate lots of different ideas and methods, make sense of them and then communicate to the team in an impactful and relatable way that often resulted in improving how we did our work. As fun as work was, he had his priorities straight as he was clearly a family man who often expressed joy as being a parent and of pride in relating their accomplishments. I am going to miss the grace and patience that Bruce exuded and I want to express my condolences to his family.

Very sorry for the loss of Bruce. I remember many years ago Bruce from both Harriett St. and Sandy Beach. My Grandparents The Robertson's lived nearby and we had many good childhood memories.
