Obituary of Robert "Bob" Bouchard

Peacefully, surrounded by family on Sunday afternoon, August 4th, 2019; R. W. Bro. Robert Bouchard of Fitzroy Harbour passed away at the age of 69. Treasured husband of Patricia (nee Pountney). Cherished and proud father of Rob of Fitzroy Harbour, and Matt (Lauren) of Victoria, B.C. Dear son of Robert and Rowena (nee Wilson) Bouchard of Renfrew. Dear brother of Richard Bouchard and Patricia Bouchard. Also survived by extended family and many wonderful friends. Bob was a Past District Deputy Grand Master of Ottawa District 1. He was a member of Carleton Masonic Lodge No. 465 and was a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason and a Shriner. He served the community of Arnprior as manager of RBC for many years. His interests were varied but almost always involved nature and the great outdoors. A man of many talents, he will be missed. Bob’s final care has been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior where visitation was held on Friday afternoon, August 9th from 2 to 4 p.m. A Masonic Memorial Service took place at the funeral home at 6:30 p.m. Everyone was invited to attend a brief tribute to Bob in the Pilon Family Chapel at 7 p.m., immediately followed by a luncheon in the Pilon Family Reception Centre. In memory of Bob, please consider a donation to the Shriners Hospital for Children or the Ruddy-Shenkman Hospice in Kanata.
