Obituary of McKenzie Marie Remus

With incredible sadness we announce the sudden and tragic passing of our beautiful McKenzie and her unborn child. They passed away as the result of a motor vehicle accident near Perth on Saturday afternoon, August 17, 2019. McKenzie was 20. Beloved fiancée of Caleb Rogers. Precious and devoted mother of Everlee (10 months). Adored daughter of Kelly-Anne Remus-Dubois (Dan) and Kevin Piche (Kelly Sampson). Treasured sister of Nicole Remus and Kir Novossiltzeff-Piche. Special aunt of Blakeleigh. Cherished granddaughter of Eldon and Janice Remus and Wayne and Gloria Piche.  Soon to be daughter-in-law of Rhonda Rogers. Special big cousin of Kenadee and Misumi and niece of Cory Remus (Olivia Rancourt), Steven “Chubbs” Clemen (Jenn Pierce), Kenny Rogers as well as many great-aunts and uncles. Lovingly remembered by her best friends, Cherokee Rogers, Maddie Toner as well as her many cousins and so many great friends. We trust that McKenzie has been greeted and welcomed by her 2 great-grandmothers that she loved so much, Helen Coe and Iris Piche. A beautiful candle has been extinguished far too soon. Kenzie’s final care has been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior where visitation was held on Thursday, August 22 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. only. A Liturgy of The Word was celebrated in St. John Chrysostom Church, Arnprior on Friday morning, August 23 at 11 o’clock. Interment Malloch Road Cemetery, Arnprior.
