Obituary of Gregory "Greg" Hill

With heavy hearts we announce that Greg passed away peacefully at the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital while surrounded by loved ones on Sunday afternoon, September 1, 2019. He was 67. Dear son of the late Wally and Dorothy (nee Beauregard) Hill and stepson of Inez Hill of Saskatoon. Beloved husband of Penny (nee Smith). Dearly loved and proud “Dad” of Carla Hill Pitelka and her husband, Ron and their son, Sterling of Chicago. Dear brother of Wilfred (Joan) of Amherstview; Dennis (Sylvia) of Kingston and Diane Lemay (Gerry) of Angus, Ontario and dearest brother-in-law to Wayne Smith (John) of Kemptville, Terry Smith (Rosemary) of Arnprior, Patsy Ayotte (Phil) of Arnprior, and Pam O’Malley (Tony) of Chesterville. Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Greg’s final care has been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior where visitation was held on Saturday, October 19, 2019 from 10 to 11:15.  A tribute to Greg took place in the Pilon Family Chapel at 11:30. Luncheon followed with placement of the urn in the Albert Street Columbarium afterward. In memory of Greg, please consider a donation to the Arnprior Humane Society.
