To all of Mary's friends and family, Mary became a wonderful friend to our brother Bruce during her stay at Valley Stream, where Bruce has lived since his diagnosis of early onset dementia. Mary was a fierce defender when she felt Bruce needed defending, and she gave him friendship and support when many others had abandoned Bruce because of his illness. We admired her resilience and feistiness, her loyalty and her courage. We will miss her.
