Obituary of Roland "Rolly" Charron

Peacefully at the Queensway-Carleton Hospital, Ottawa on Monday evening, September 23, 2019; Roland Joseph Charron of Kinburn passed away following a lengthy illness. He was 89. Beloved husband and best friend of Kathleen “Kay” Milford (nee Lesway). Dear father of Lise and Denis and stepfather of Bruce Milford (Donna Dayman) and Rev. Dale Milford (Barbara). Much loved “Grampa” of April, Jason, Jesse, Kristen and Melanie and “Great-Grampa” of Jordan, Cameryn, Madasynn, Jayden and Mackayla. Dear brother of Germaine Cyr (late Gérard), Fernand Charron (Carmen), Jacqueline Leduc (late Roger), Jean-Paul Charron (Raymonde) and Jacques Charron (Mireille). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Fondly remembered by the Lesway family. Rolly’s final care has been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior where visitation was held on Sunday, September 29 from 12 to 12:45 p.m. A Tribute to Rolly followed in the Pilon Family Chapel at 1 p.m. In memory, please consider a donation to the Almonte General Hospital Foundation.
