We were saddened by the news of Lornie's passing. another one from our group of five couples who had many good times together. Had a few good visits with him while he was in the retirement home in Arnprior. Sorry we are not able to make the service but will be thinking of the family that day.

Another one gone from The Harbour. Lornie was a real gentleman. He was always interested in how the kids who grew up in the village were doing. Yes, Jeannette Groome, there are quite a few from that part of the village up there . Thank God for our memories!

I knew this day was approaching but I’d rather touch on Emmer’s and my friendship with Lorney and Faye, the 14 yrs we were neighbours and with Faye until her passing and Lorney in my heart until the his last day.
Our years as neighbours were very special to the 4 of us and to our kids Barb and David. They considered Lorney and Faye the grandparents they never knew.
Lots of laughter, teasing and memories.
Maybe Emmer and Lorney will reminisce about their favourite hunting spot. Now you’ll remember and visit with your loved ones and long time friends. Loveyou Lorney..
If I could be there I would without hesitation, I’m away on a bus trip. Condolences to Garry, Tina, grandkids and nieces and nephews.

It is with a heavy heart I learned of Lorne's passing. He was a real gentleman and always had positive things to say about everyone and everything. His smile would light up the room. Now he is with Faye looking down on all of us. My thoughts and prayers are with Lorne's family and friends. You will be missed.
