Obituary of Mabel Camp

(nee Okum)

With sadness we announce that Mabel passed away suddenly but very peacefully at The Grove Nursing Home in Arnprior on Saturday morning, November 2, 2019. Mabel Ardene Camp of Arnprior in her 95^th year. Beloved wife of the late Robert H. Camp. Dear sister of Wilbert Okum (late Audrey) (Marjorie) and James “Jim” Okum. Predeceased by her parents: Sam and Martha (nee Berndt) Okum; her brother, John Okum Sr. (late Bea) as well as her only sister, Esther Danyluck (late Jack). Lovingly remembered as Aunt, Great-Aunt and Great-Great-Aunt by her many nieces and nephews. Fittingly, Mabel’s final care has been entrusted to her friends and former co-workers at the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior where visitation was held on Friday, November 8th from 11 to 12:45p.m. A Funeral Service in honour of Mabel was conducted in the Pilon Family Chapel at 1 o’clock. A luncheon followed. Interment Flat Rapids Cemetery, McNab/Braeside.
