Obituary of Cecile Loock

(nee Lapierre)

1938 – 2019

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Cecile at Stoneridge Manor, Carleton Place on Wednesday evening, December 11, 2019. She was 81. Predeceased by her husband, Kenneth in 1999. Beloved mother of Mark Loock (Donna), Angie Ryan (her favorite son-in-law, Larry) and Chayne (Kimberley). Cherished grandmother of Haley (Trent), Jennifer and Holly. Dear sister of Norbert Lapierre (Andrée), Leo Lapierre (Lesley) and Joseph Lapierre (Nicole). Also survived by her many nieces and nephews. She shared a lifelong friendship with her dear friend, Shirley Matheson. Dear daughter of the late Delia and Ferdinand Lapierre. Cecile was also predeceased by her sister Sylvia Hogarth (late William) December 10, 2019; her brother Gordon “Gordy” Lapierre (late Yvonne) December 3, 2019; her brother Maurice “Moe” Lapierre (late Janet Tearle) May 31, 2018 and her sister Beatrice “Bea” Okum (late John) August 1, 2012. Words cannot express how deeply Cecile will be missed, but the memories will live on. Cil’s final care has been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior where visitation was held on Sunday, December 15^th from 12 to 1:45 p.m. A Tribute to Cecile followed in the Pilon Family Chapel at 2 o’clock. Interment Malloch Road Cemetery, Arnprior. In memory, please consider a donation to the Arnprior and District Humane Society.
