Deanna, Billy, Chris and Matt, I am so sad to hear of Your Mom's passing. Such a beautiful Lady. Lots of great memories of her throughout the years. The last time that I saw your Mom was at Island View several years ago, when our Dad was still alive and also living at Island View. Your Mom was in the Lobby waiting on Chris to pick her up. She was so proud of each of you. That day, we had such a great conversation catching up on the days gone by and sharing our stories about our adult kids. I am so glad that we had that time together. Rest in Peace Beautiful and Caring Denise!

Denise and I used to walk our babies in strollers together throughout Arnprior back in the day. That would be 1963-65. I retired and returned to Arnprior 5 years ago and reconnected with her when I did some volunteering at the Island View. She was such a cheerful and welcoming personality. I admired her jewelry and clothes and shoes and we had casual conversations and compliments about what each of us were wearing when we interacted. She was a fashion diva and a tough broad. I admired her stamina and the love she expressed for her family. Used to offer her rides when I saw her in town but she preferred sometimes to walk or she had the Island View van to pick her up. In case I don’t make it tomorrow, Condolences to all her family. Am sure she was a challenge in later life but she was a treasure!
